The kids are all out of school and looking forward to their summer vacations and I am working hard on the juggling act of managing a career while trying to keep them content. I’m sure many parents are in the same boat for the next few months. Nonetheless, it’s summer and there’s nothing like the beauty of the great Pacific Northwest this time of year.

Now that the sun is out, everybody is ready for golf, baseball, and BBQ’s. At Juniper, we’re looking forward to the Big Brothers and Sisters of Puget Sound Big Invitational at Washington National Golf Club in Auburn, WA this Thursday. It’s been sold out for the past month and it should be a great day in the sun. Plus, we’re giving out an iPad mini to the winner of our Pot of Gold contest. It’s going to be great! We hope to see you all there!

We have a few more outings slated for this summer and we will keep you informed about them through Kerry’s Corner and our blog… so stay tuned!

P.S. Someone in the office has a beef to air from his recent trip to the ballpark.

Silly Fans, Autographs Are For Kids… Not Grown Men!

I recently took my kids to a Mariners game and they couldn’t even get close to the ballplayers because of the 30-40 year old men looking for an autograph. Autographs are for kids under 13. There should be a rule that if you are over the age of 13, you should have to wait until the kids have had a chance to meet their heroes. When I was a child, I played with childish things, and when I became a man, I put away those childish things. Give the kids a chance to be kids.
