Juniper Capital has been very active on the Washington financial circuit this spring. On March 18, we attended a dinner at Broadmoor Golf Club, put on the Seattle Mortgage Banker’s Association (SMBA). The keynote speaker was Seattle Mayor Ed Murray. We then heard economist Michael Parks speak at a Risk Management Association (RMA) meeting on April 1. Coming up, on Thursday, May 1, you can join Juniper Vice President of Marketing (and author of Kerry’s Corner) Kerry Travers at the SMBA Income Property Lunch.

SMBA’s Income Property Lunch features a panel discussion by three local lenders, specializing in alternative and innovative lending solutions. The panel includes Scott Gibson of Pacific Crest Savings, Tim Moriarty of Seacoast Commerce, and Bastian Rose of MB2 Management, and is moderated by Courtney Hashimoto of Umpqua Bank. The combination of a bridge lender, an SBA lender, and a small community bank lender should provide great insight to how and when specialized lending solutions are appropriate for client financing. We look forward to an informative discussion at the Harbor Club in Seattle (details below).
