Juniper Capital joins the Issaquah Rotary in congratulating Stephanie Busch, the 2015 Student of the Year at Skyline High School, and Nikhill Shyamkumar and Vaiva Snapkauskaite, male and female athletes of the year, respectively.
Busch, a 12th grader, ranked first in her class with a 4.0 GPA, earned an AAUW Certificate of Merit in Science, and was captain of the women’s golf team. Her efforts as a volunteer and tutor should also be lauded. Congratulations, Stephanie!
Shyamkumar and Snapkauskaite, both 12th graders, excelled in sports and scholastics, as well as community service. Shyamkumar was a National Merit semi-finalist and co-captain of the varsity cross country and track teams. Snapkauskaite is a member of the National Honors Society and a four-year varsity athlete. She was captain of the swim and track teams and set a school record for shot put.
Juniper Capital is a longtime sponsor of local Students of the Month at high schools like Skyline. In coalition with the Rotary Club of Sammamish Scholarship Program, we strive to give back to the local community. Education and community are very important to us, which is why we support the Issaquah Schools Foundation and efforts of the Rotary Club.
