Juniper Capital, in coalition with the Rotary Club of Sammamish Scholarship Program, seeks to encourage community service, leadership, and good citizenship by awarding scholarships to deserving and high-achieving high school seniors. The 2015 Sammamish Rotary scholarships were awarded in May 2015 to four students from the three high schools located in the city of Sammamish, WA.
Jerome Siangco of Eastside Catholic was awarded the “Spirit of Rotary Award” for his dedication to community service, volunteering, and leadership. He also achieved high academic standing and participated in sports. He will attend Holy Cross this fall.
Tristana Leist, also of Eastside Catholic, Danica Schmidtke of Eastlake, and Niyathi Chakrapani of Skyline were scholarship winners of their respective high schools. They will attend Gonzaga, University of Washington, and Penn, respectively. Congratulations to these vigilant young stewards and burgeoning leaders of our community.
